Thinking about it this list is mostly fair actually. I think I'm mostly just disappointed there's no Sakura Wars: So Long My Love under SRPG :P

Yeah, that was interesting. Metroid Prime Trilogy seemed to be in the shadow of Metroid Prime 3 in all of its available topics. I guess many voters just didn't think about the game when voting.

Other funny inconsistincies:

Okami receives 1st place for "Favorite 3rd Party Game" but trails No More Heroes and Monster Hunter Tri in the "Favorite Wii Game" category.

GoldenEye 007 receives 1st place for "Favorite Shooter/Flight Game" but trails Red Steel 2 in the "Favorite 3rd Party Game" and "Favorite Wii Game" Categories.

I'm pretty surprised to see Skyward Sword win the overall vote, given that it had a bit of a mixed reaction.

Great job, Smeags! I don't agree with all the winners, but really good job putting together all the data. And nice presentation, too.

I hope all the repeat winners don't reinforce the myth that Wii had only a handful of great titles.

Indeed. I wasn't expecting Skyward Sword to be at the top (Galaxy 2 was in the lead for a while, but was ultimately surpassed by SS) due to it's position in the Zelda Cycle (newest Zelda: Scrutinized to hell and back while the previous Zelda: elevated to a god-like position). I thought we would have to wait until the next Zelda comes out before it would reach legendary status.

You could have stopped Boom Blox from appearing in the "Favorite Puzzle Game" category, and now you have to live with that for the rest of your life.

Anyway great job!!

Not sure about Monster Hunter Tri making the top 5 for most technically impressive graphics over games like Jett Rocket, Metroid Other M, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, and Conduit 1 & 2.

Tri had great animations, textures, and monster/environment modelling but little in the way of advanced shaders and effects.
