why does he even mention his baby? that clearly show it's also about the baby he doesn' t really want like it is. otherwise he just could have said the same about his wife without mentioning his "ugly baby" which even "terrified" him. wow that guy brandmarked his own child forever, his love for his baby is really huge!

i wouldn't have a problem if he wouldn't have used his baby to get money. if his wife didn't tell him about herself sue her as much as you want but don't complain what an ugly kid you have now because of that wtf?

I would imagine that he's upset with the appearance of the baby too. A man should have the right to knowing beforehand what his baby will likely result in by knowing the true nature of his spouse. People should be given all the necessary information to make an informed decision on choosing a mate to have the most ideal child, especially in China. However, this woman violated that right. Is his actions morally right? That's irrevelant, he should recieve some sort of payment for being decieved.

Imagine you married a woman that looked like A. Now imagine that you two had a baby that looked like B. Then all of a sudden, your wife is like, "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, I looked like B before I had cosmetic surgery. Oh well, I guess one of your two legal child (because of China law) will look like B. Tough luck." Wouldn't you want something in return?

Don't try to debate this like this is some form of religious, political or scientific matter. It's a pretty straight foward case. If a guy says he loves a woman and is willing to spend his whole life with her and then just divorces AND SUES her for giving him a child he thinks its ''ugly'', it's pretty easy to figure out what kind of person this guy is and whether or not he's gonna ''love'' his child. If he's willing to divorce a mother because a child didn't fulfil his physical standards, what's he gonna do if the next day,if a kid breaks a TV remote, or even worse, does bad at school or doesn't have a job the father wants for him? Throw the kid from the balcony? There is no grey area or debate about this. He is a cunt, and i don't think anyone can deny that.

Should she have told him she had a plastic surgery before ? Absolutely. But his reaction is completely disgusting and outrageous and completely overshadows her fault, without question.

Again, I'm not saying whether or not he's right/wrong for calling his baby ugly. I'm just trying to say I understand his perspective. I don't know how the Chinese culture works, how his family is, what kind of plans he had for his child that may be changed now that it's ugly, etc.

I don't like that people are judging this guy. Don't sit here and act like you wouldn't be upset if your baby looked like an alien. And there's fact that your baby looks like an alien only because someone your wife tricked you. AND there's the fact that you can only have two legal babies. His life is probably drastically hindered by his wife's actions.

don't tell me how i would feel about my own baby if it wouldn't look as good as other babies because i'm pretty sure if wouldn't care about it. i just hope you will never get a child if you really define the worth of your baby for yourself like this and if you would be upset if your child would look "like an alien". i don't even want to know what you would think about a disabled baby which would look probably even worse as the "alien baby" even if you would have the best looking woman on earth. that's all i have to say to that i'm out here now.

I wanted to reply to each of your points.

You can call the guy bad all you want. I won't disagree with that. Everyone has their right to decide for themselves what's a bad person. Whether or not he's a good/bad person doesn't matter. He may be a shallow person to judge a baby on looks...so what? If he wants to choose his ideal babies based on physical appearance, then he should have that right. However, his spouse took that right away from him and stopped him from making an informed decision on his ideal baby.

As for the bolded, you'd be surprised by the amount of cultures that place those things at the top of their priorities.

Anywho. A lot of people are not distinguishing between the fact it's inexcusable what the man said about his kid, and the fact that the man had his own rights abused when he was deceived into thinking his wife was something she was not.

The guy can burn in hell for all I care, but he has every right to know what type of genetics are in store for his future kids.
