So, this little game called Zack and Wiki just got released here in the EU on Jan 18th...

I went to one of the gameshops in my area on Jan 19th (Saturday)... And i asked if they had this game called Zack and Wiki for the Wii... And she checked here database and came to the point that they didn't have it... Wtf!!!

So, she looked it up on the net and thought the game looked goofy and WAY to childish and asked why the fuck i wanted that game... She hadn't even heared of it...

But then i went to a store (which i don't like comming)... Maybe Dutch people know it... It's called 'Intertoys'.

And they had like 3 copies of the game... Somewhere on like a shelf on which you can only see the spine of the box... If u know what i mean.

And when i bought the game the clerk really looked at me with the 'are you a crazy geek' look...

But hey, whatever, little does he know that he's the stupid guy...

So... I've been playing this game a little time... And the game is over the top childish... ... And funny! And challenging! And im really digging the style, the graphics and the polish...

Capcom made this title really good (AA good). And to top that of... I know of 3 other people who've bought the title ...

So, here's to hoping that the game sells like 200k in Europe without advertising etc... (Europe digs point-and-click games more...) so im really, REALLY hoping for a sequel on this brilliant title !!!

Thumbs-up to Capcom, keep it coming! 

It would be likely to come to the wii, just the sales dont make it likely, just a possibility.

As i said... I hope Europe generates enough Software sales to let Capcom make another one...

Btw, it looks like Capcom knows this game cannot sell millions... They didn't even advertise it or make lots of copies... So they knew what to expect...

Fingers crossed for a nice debut in the European market though!  

I bought it and i find it very difficult,
Childrens cannot even pass the first five levels.

I really don't understand that gameshops don't have this game. Nintendo publishes it in Europe, so why can't they sell it to the shops. And why aren't gameshops taking notice of the internet-hype. Amateurs.

My local Gamestations shelves were stacked with Zack & Wiki on friday morning. Seriously they had about 30+ cases out and looking at the empty slots it seemed like quite a few copies had already been sold.

They also had a giant poster in the window of the box art saying "This weeks game to get" above it.

Well they still haven't announced Dead Rising 2 yet so even if a game gets decent/good sales it still doesn't automatically mean that Capcom will be quick with a sequel :(

Uh, have you guys not paid much attention to this? I think Capcom already confirmed a Zack & Wiki 2 sequel coming out. It was leaked from some retailers launch info and Capcom confirmed it.

Its perfect sense, they already developed the engine and know how to use the controls so its extremely cheap to make a sequel. The guy even said that they know these games take time to build word of mouth so they're hoping for better results in the sequel now that some people already know of the 1st one.

 yep - if they made a sequel it would be on the wii but the original was a flop so idk
