Not even the best 3D Mario game.. Mario 64 and Galaxy 2 are far better.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a much better game. SMG1 was ruined because of it's pathetic difficulty.

DKCR is a better platformer.

I tend to not compare 3D platformers to 2D platformers because it's an almost impossible task since they're very different games.

Even if its not my fav 3D Mario game i must admit its an amzing piece of sw in every way, and those scores are absolutely justified

Yes. But people on this thread seem to like comparing platformers that are extremely different in design despite sharing the same genre.

Have no problem with this. My favorite console game from the last 5 years or so.

I thought both Super Mario Galaxy's were great games. They might be a bit overrated, but they're still fun although I actually thought Super Mario Galaxy 2 was a better game.

great gameplay,great music and graphics its the most complete mario game since SMW.

and the replay value is also top notch I played throu it several times and it didnt get boring its simply everything a mario game should be and its in 3D :D
