Both Galaxy games are ranked too high. Neither of them is even the top 3D Mario game in my opinion. That honor would go to Super Mario 64.

Yay Galaxy! I was remember when the reviews were first coming out and it was above OoT for a while, I was so excited cuz it's my fav game ever! :D

Also, I'm with amp316 on this one. Super Mario 64 is the best 3D Mario.

Totally Agree. this is the best (more complete) game I have ever played. but I am sure that the top ten is all very close and all Amazing Games!

Mario Galaxy is so good. It's great that fundamentally linear levels are thrown into a game that is designed around exploration and non-linearity, not conflicting at all!

I'll always be a Mario Sunshine person (followed closely by 64), but if linear Mario is your preference I'd point to the game that's actually designed around that, Mario 3D Land.

It's not even the best Mario game...Most would agree.

I thought the planet gravity thing came in the way of clever level design that we're used to in Mario games.

I'm pretty sure that most would say Super Mario 3 or Super Mario 64 depending on whether they prefer 2D or 3D Mario.  Most are not reviewers...
