The Wii didn't have many games come out this year. Yes it had the second best game of all time (According to gamerankings) but beyond that, what else? While the XBOX 360 enjoyed many great games, such as Halo 3, Assasin's Creed, Rock Band, Mass Effect, Virtua Fighter 5, Forza Motorsport 2, etc. And all of those games warrant a buy.

Also, Zelda came out last year, RE4 is a remake of a PS2 game, which was a remake of a GC game, so basically, they ported over a last generation game to this generation. So in that same token, I can say that Halo 1 came out for the 360 this year, cuz it's on the XBOX originals and definetly was a top notch game, by that same token, Psychonauts came out this year for the XBOX 36o also, so that's two more top notch games, along with the ones I said above.

Also your good games are very niche, don't sell well, and not good. In that order with what you posted up there.

Again, Zelda sold great, but that came out in 2006, not 2007. RE4 tripled expectations because it's a good game, RE:UC did that because, what else was there to play this winter aside from SMG?

So actually, you are wrong on all 3 counts.

Well being the huge RE fan that I am I would love if RE5 went on the Wii haha. But I also have a 360 in case it doesn't, but ya know yea. I mean as others have said I would take the wiimote control in RE5 with the RE4 engine over the RE5 graphics with dual analog control. But I'm willing to take the latter cause I'm just a huge fan of Resident Evil.

If Capcom announces more RE games for the Wii I would be thrilled, but I am not really surprised that an internet petition hasn't produced any results. I consider my purchase of both RE:4 Wii and UC to be my vote for future RE and Capcom involvement. I am also looking at Zack and Wiki, and a few Capcom VC titles. I am more of a believer in voting with your wallet. Still, I wouldn't be too disappointed it Re 5 never shows up on the Wii.

I'll sign a petitiion for it NOT to go to Wii! haha

I could buy it for both 360 and PS3 if i wanted, but I don't like resident evil so i will just take it for granted and not play it.

Didn't have many great games?  Well that's obviously opinion cause I bought close to 25 Wii games this year, and loved about 18 of them.  The other 7 were from ok to awful.  But there was a lot of Wii games I bought and liked.  I feel that too many people look to deep into the reviews instead of actually playing the games to see if they like them.  I am one of the ultimate Wii gamers, and I would know personally if a game is good or not.  And in my opinion, a lot of the reviews were quite harsh on Wii games.  Really I can understand listening to reviews, but let's face it its just one man's opinion.  Not until you really try it will ya know if ya like it or not.

Although RE4 Wii Edition was a port, it still couldn't be played on any other console.  It had exclusive content that was incapable on the PS2 or GC, and PS360 for that matter.  thus I see it as an entirely new game.  Halo 1 and Psychonauts on the other hand had nothing that wasn't possible before or on another console.  

Now I know its some opinions that 360 had a better lineup in 2007, but upon playing many of them I disagree.  Sure Rock Band and Guitar Hero III were good but you can get that on multiple other platforms.  Forza 2 was boring(of course I hate sim racers), Halo 3 was a downgrade in everyway possible from H2, Bioshock may be the most overrated game in existence, Assassin's Creed was good though, and so was Mass Effect.  Personally I'd take RE4: Wii Edition, SMG, MP3, Zack and Wiki, and Fire Emblem anyday over Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Assassin's Creed.  

So arguing this is definetly impossible, as reviews are opinions, an so are ours.

Sorry but if we're omparing the xbox360 and wii in terms which had the best and most renowned games out this year, it was definitely the Wii. Putting out SMG alone really makes all other games fall to shame. Add to the fact such games as Zelda, Metroid and RE4 and put them up against Halo, Mass Effect, CoD4 and Assassins Creed. The very fact that you can play through most all those xbox games within 19-22 hours combined is also really telling as to how long one can play these games. Zelda alone takes up over 30 hours, same with SMG if you aim for all the stars and aren't really gaming savvy. Now while the x-games aren't bad( because they are really great, loved playing them) they still are not that great when the N games are brought up. Please note that this is my sisters, and my opinion, i'm not speaking for the general community

You defined the rules when you added RE4 which is the same as the PS2 port. And I will then summon the XBLA to my list of XBOX 360 good games to play, and Since I can throw in 2006 and 2005, my list for good games, non XBLA at least doubled, maybe even tripled. Back to my point, there are plenty more games out for the XBOX 360 than the Wii, and if you bought a Wii for games, then you did it out of pure blind brand loyalty, as the XBOX 360 had two and a half years worth of games on it, versus a year of games, and you cannot tell me, that comparing the two catalogs, the Wii's is better than the XBOX 360's.

So I guess it's impossible one buys a Wii just because he/she likes the games on it? instead of brand loyalty? I agree the 360 has the best games at the moment, but that doesn't mean everyone likes those games.
