Im not neccessarily saying Vita will sell less units next year, as I think it probably will pick up a little steam with a huge price cut.

What I am suggesting though is that the Vita faces a huge problem of convincing 3rd parties to make games for the system which is something that Sony themselves have admitted.

And without a 3rd party support they system ultimately faces some dire problems that I question Sony will be able to turn around. I really hope they will as I think the system is awesome but if you look at the Vitas 2013 line up so far its pretty barren

look at kingdom hearts, it's the worst selling kh game

look at resident evil, should have sold a lot more

the problem is, the 3ds is a nintendo system, people buy it for nintendo games

Except that Kid Icarus had lackluster sales, so people don't buy it for Nintendo games either.

The third party sales on Vita are absolutely terrible. People don't buy Vitas period, they don't buy them for Sony games or third party games. An absolute slaughterfest that thing has been for software sales. Good thing AC just released.

don't think so, PS Vita will likely get a price cut and that alone should suffice for a better year than 2012, hopefully games like God Eater 2, Soul Sacrifice, KZ Vita, FF X(HOPEFULLY) will add to Vita sales along with some undoubtedly surprising titles announcements( maybe Gravity Rush 2 or those two unannounced Capcom games incoming)

... and Kingdom Hearts has sold better than any PS-Vita game, Resident Evil Revelations has outsold all PS-Vita games except for Uncharted, and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D has sold as well as the best selling third party game for the PS-Vita. 16 third party 3DS games have sold as well or better than the best selling third party PS-Vita games, and combined they have sold 70% more copies than the entire PS-Vita library combined.

It is impossible to say that third party 3DS software is selling poorly without saying that all PS-Vita software is selling terribly.

They haven't cancelled it, but they haven't talked about it since the announcement. Too busy with Infinite and probably waiting till a better time.
