Forums - General - is it possible to like or love everyone?.

No.
When I was younger and more naive (about 2 years ago) I did believe there was just enough good in everyone in order for them to be liked somehow. But then I took off the rose tinted glasses; some people are just evil. Not just "oh he picked on babies in daycare" evil. I mean legitimate parasites that I would not care for a second if they died.

That comes off very cold and harsh, but that is just the way it is. Most of us have the basic human capability to want to help others; humans are built like that. I see beautiful examples of humanity everyday. However, there are some so damaged, they are doing more harm than good. I would not bat an eyelash when they fall, and I would find joy in when they fail, just to serve as examples as to how human beings should not be.

I haven't met more than a handful people in my entire life that vile...but they are out there.

If someone treats me bad I will treat them bad, if someone treats me good I will treat them good. I went through life thinking this and so far I have not had any problems with anyone, there's many people I met that others hated and I couldn't find a reaon to dislike them, they always treated me well so I did the same.

So honestly I don't think there's anyone that I really hate.

If you can like the characters on shows like Gossip Girl than everything is possible.

I pretty much like everyone, I cannot think of anyone who I would not really like. I think the reason behind my thinking is I think life is fairly insignificant. You got maybe 140 years max, compared with the age of the universe: about 14 billion years and counting. You see so little of what the universe is like.
