After reading that you're having a harder time enjoying yourself on these forums, this is a pretty sad thread to be honest.

Vita is doing horrible in Europe, US and Japan.

Its time to face the facts, the console is basically dead... i doubt it will sell 20 milions in the next 2/3 years...

3Ds has a chance of >100m

The western interest in handhelds is dwindling now. Smart phones are taking over outside japan. If there was any chance this prediction was true psp would have beaten ds. It was already proven that this type of handheld is not meant to beat nintendo handhelds. The least it can do is pull through.

Vita tablet/phone>West

3DS>Japan

I suppose anything is possible, but I don't think it is very likely.

Yes, American audiences don't seem to love the 3DS as much as the DS, but the Vita is doing so poorly in sales I can't imagine it will leapfrog the 3DS. Both will probably lose sales in North America, but Vita will lose more.

A new Zelda game and some 3DS Pokemon games will keep 3DS going strong in the years to come.

Yeah I think we're looking at

3DS - 90-100 million (compared to DS at 150+ million)

Vita - 18-25 million (compared to PSP at 60 million)

By the end of their life cycles.

"The 3DS will become the PSP of this gen"

The 3DS is the DS of this gen. Except it sells more.
