Gee, here's a crazy thought: Arabic, to those that dont know the language, looks like a bunch of squiggly lines or a piece of artwork, as was the case in *both* instances, i.e. they almost certaily didn't know it was Arabic.

This is just proof of how ridiculous things can get. Muslims taking photos or still photos of events and slapping the word allah on anything that slightly resembles or doesn't resemble the word itself. like I said. The word is unique in how it's spelled in the arabic language, and it can resemble almost anything that has curves.

I get why the toilet one was considered offensive, even though it was just oversight and I doubt anybody at Infinity Ward/Activision knows a great deal of Arabic and that they even realised what they probably saw as marks were actually letters. Considering MW2 has been out for coming up to 3 years thought people would have taken offence sooner.

Again with this one, to me it looks like its been drawn on. Its so small on the full image I'm surprised anyone can make it out. Do they just trawl through games to find any image that can eb considered vaguely offensive?

I think you should read what I wrote better. I said that I don't follow the religion as much as most do. Meaning I don't do things like pray and I eat all types of food (Muslims can't eat pork). I was born a Muslim therefore I consider myself to be a Muslim. I feel embarrased because when things like this happens, the muslim religion as a whole gets bashed when it's really just the extremists making a big deal out of such a little thing. Also, where in that sentence did I say I don't care about Islam?? Mind fucked right now by your illiteracy.
