I find that Minecraft gets boring very quick for me. Just feels to repetetive. Mine stuff...build stuff...mine stuff...build stuff..etc

If its that boring then why ask for it to get come to the PS3?

Because a lot of other people love it. I think it would benefit sony especially if they do something like making it free for ps plus. Tons of people would subscribe.

mine craft cannot be stopped. come play on the VGZ server nibirucraft.dyndns.org (use in place of IP in the PC mine craft launcher) we are over 2 years old!

Everyone needs to put this into perspective though. Minecraft may be at the top, but the list consists of 3 different COD titles. MW3, Black Ops, and MW2. I bet all 3 combined destroy Minecraft.

So really they haven't over taken COD.

This game is really a modern era phenomenon. That deserves major respect.

Halo 4 will be the top game on XBL for one week until Blops 2 comes out. After that it probably won't ever be number one again.

OT: This is actually incredibly impressive for any game to beat MW3! 

So? Point is Minecraft beat the most popular game on the 360 this week for people playing it. No matter how you try to spin it that is still an impressive feat.

That is kinda crazy though. I know that my kid is loving that creation mode they just added with the recent update. I have zero interest in the game and I have to endure my son showing me a multitude of creations that all look like globs of shit but it's sales and popularity are pretty impressive.

I think it may go back and forth between the two personally.
