Sony is around 400M right?

Are you lost?

Big numbers but how many of those games sold were hardcore games? Thats the important data blah, blah, blah. (Insert generic Ninrendo is doomed crap here)

Well done Ninty. Lets get to a billion consoles sold.

Wow. totally awesome :D

But recently hard times have been falling on Nintendo :(

Do you think they could make it to 1 billion consoles sold?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Well, they did have 11+ hardware consoles since 80's. Sony achived more than half of that with almost 3 times smaller console count. And software sales include 3rd party too, so yeah...

so NSMB 2 digital sales are now around 10% of the total? VGC have it at 2.7 mil

Impressive! They won the hearts of millions of casuals around the world. I hope it continues for a long time.

Don't agree with the headline though. Records are meant to be broken. So, a claim like 'no one will beat this record' is very much uncalled for.

Congratz. But let's not dwell on the past. The future is what matters. Anything can happen.

Yet sony fans always bring PS2 when talking about sales, interesting.....

Congratz to the Big N.

so you believe if they have the same amount of console released they will be equal ? ...

or perhaps if ninty were to stop selling consoles now and sony continue to be sony and release more console they would achieve the same number or more?
