Never stop playing.

In mature games like Resident Evil or Sleeping Dogs, turn the darkness down jus a little more than normal. It makes the game look even better. Also, play the Wii on a 19 inch or smaller television. It makes the games look almost HD.

For single player to learn the controls.

Multiplayer-out think your apponents rather than go guns blazing. For example, if you can see the whole level, the whole level can see you. Never go to places you can get attacked in from multiple directions. Be patient and slow. On Halo I crouch pretty much the whole game slowly making my way to the enemies. I'm practically invisible the whole game.
