it's a bit restrictive - there would be like a thousand reports everyday with leo-j

security on this site has been easy going over the last few days, ive been swearing my head off and no ones stopped me hahahaha
Who really cares... As along as posts don't offend people, bully, make threats, or of adult nature... I don't see the need to put more restrictions. Besides banning and the occasional mod that he's god (j/k), this site is quite balanced.
What I'd like to see , is more members being nice to our newer members. There are alot of people that just observe and due to some dramas that go down on this site, new members often wait or not voice their opinions. There are quite a few cliques on VG Charts and that makes it hard for new people or members for that matter to voice their opinions without having some massive argument.
In the end we all don't know what we are talking about. It just sounds good at the time :P imo
Generally I ignore spam because the people who need to be banned make it pretty clear with their spamming/flaming.

I like the cut of your jib (I have no idea what that means but I am using it as a compliment) I would argue that many (ok some) first time posters are welcomed here nicely though if they make a well written first post. I like the way this site values good writing more so than the rest of the internet.

The rules don't appear to make reference directly to spamming as a reportable offence, although a lack of 'substance' when it comes to threads (does this extend to posts?) is listed as a reportable offence, with some examples given. Should/can I/we report users in the following, and similar, cases: 1 - User A posts twice in a row for no obvious reason other than for the +1 post count. Does not claim second post is caused by lag or whatever and has clearly done it intentionally. 2 - User A posts the word 'spam' and nothing else in the post. 3 - User A posts something along the lines of 'first post' or similar content in a new thread (I dare you... ) |
This is about leo-j, right? It's okay to name names if you're purely using it as an example. Heh.
