I'm actually going to get this over ACIII on launch. Then get ACIII around Christmas time.

Not a killer app. I really, really wish people would stop using that phrase.
However, it is part of the solution for Vita. Keeping a flow of solid, well-made, big name stuff coming will get the console out of the rut that it is in now.
And just for the record, I think this looks stunning. Sony need to get more games like this on board.
Think this will be swept under th rug in favor of the console version.
People isn't going to buy a Wii U to play multiplatform games but they are going to buy a PSVita to play multiplatform games. Makes sense.

what the heck are you talking about?
OT: The term killerApp shouldn't have been used in this thread. You should know better as to what the thread would turn into around here. Just a simple thread focused on the story trailer so people can focus on the game itself would have been much better. Anyways the game is looking fantastic. Ubisoft Sofia have been very impressive so far

Aside from the stiff facial animation this game looks like a ps3/360 game from the early half of this generation. This very reassuring as I was starting to doubt the Vita's power.
As many have said this games potential is damaged by the fact its releasing day and date as the AC3 for consoles. The AC franchise however is bigger then alot of people think, arguably second only to COD. This title will really put the Vita on the map, hopefully sony continue will continue to advertise it well after its release, mayb those who bought the original will then be ready to pick it up alongside a Vita for Christmas.

1. Its not multiplatform, its PSVita exclusive. Its an entirely different game from AC3.
2. The fact its handheld differentiates it even further from the console version, people may buy this game based not only on its own merits (lets wait for reviews), but because its an entirely new way to experience the AC franchise. There have been other portable titles (bloodlines) but they were so deeply gimped they're not even worth mentioning.
