wow, Europeans still remember the PS1 and PS2 glory days.

And people tell me there's no brand loyalty.

Brand Loyalty is a factor; most people wouldn't deny that. But FIFA and the Slim are obviously the bigger factors for the last few weeks.

Funny you said to me that gamers go where the games are, not the console :P.

Slim is a factor, but I imagine theres many people who remember playing Fifa on their PS2s. So id associate Fifa with brand loyalty as well since Xbox 1 had little presence in Europe

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Yeah, I said that. But don't act like I was saying games was the only factor in people's console choice.

As for FIFA, you could say the same about any game that sold on the PS2. Moreover, FIFA today is a lot bigger than FIFA during the PS2 days. This shows that a vast majority of FIFA 13 owners did not play FIFA on the PS2. Even if they did, I don't see how this shows brand loyalty. What it shows me is people wanting to play FIFA.

Gap back to 1.7m

Back? It was never 1.7m before... it was 1.75m last week... now is below 1.7 million.

Oh I thought Kowen said it was 1.7m before.

It was 1,746,286 (rounded to 1.7 million?) before this week adjustments (down 8k PS3 / up 1k 360)... so after that it was 1,753,743 (rounded to 1.8 million?).

Now is around 1,680,000 (rounded to 1.7 million?).

I think @kowen made a mistake with the rounded numbers.

Numbers are finally up on the front page. PS3 at 224k, 3DS slightly higher with 227k, Wii and Vita withering away (and that is with Just Dance 4 for Wii, wth?)

Moms and dads wait till go Christmas shopping until and after Black Friday in the US.

It will be in all the kids' stockings come Christmas morning.

When will we get WW SW numbers??

Those pokemn numbers in europe are quite amazing, considering it was only out for 1 day

over 4m for fifa in a few weeks and 2m for skyrim just on the xbox for europe is pretty impressive i think

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

i believe xcom had more players at the same time on steam as we have here right now as total sales for pc as retail version. shows how digital distribution is already huge for pc.

OHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

GT5 is dommed... it sold 900 units less than last week... I can't believe that.

Eh average sales for this time of the month i suppose. Looking forward to seeing next weeks numbers, should be interesting.
