Forums - General - Halfway through the Fall semester - how are you doing in school?

This thread has a slight issue. Double post and my last post won't show all I put. And, everything is bold.

The B grade you got that you put in brackets.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'm about to write my masters thesis and then I'm done. I feel really burnt out lately and have little motivation. I need to power through this last obstacle....talk about so close and yet so far, lol.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Thankfully, I'm performing much much better this semester than the disastrous previous one. So far, I've done well in the first set of major exams. Assuming I continue on the same pace as I'm now, then I would get...

Mechanical Engineering: Thermodynamics (A)
Mathematics: Differential Equations (B+)
Physics: Semiconductor Physics (B+)

And... That's all. Yeah, I'm under load since I decided to change my major this semester and drop courses that aren't required for the new major.

oh god... havent even start mine....

so basically im just far XD

Well, I'm doing quite fine:

Introduction to Partial Differential Equations and Applications - A (100% actually as of now)

Mechanics of Materials - A (again, 100% probably)

Fluid Mechanics - A (about 99%, before the curve)

Fluid Mechanics Laboratory - A (about 93% probably)

Scientific and Technical Communication - A (very easy but also quite useful, >99%)

Electric and Electronic Circuits - A (about 94% due to not studying at all pretty much for the first Midterm)

Introductory Analysis - A only probably after the curve, F otherwise (but my grade was only beaten by graduate students and one other undergraduate friend...average for the first test was a 25/100, but my grade was 52. Going by the professor's grading way, I should have an A in comparison to the rest of the class) However this was piss poor performance. I need to do better here.

I wish I was back in college. My god that was a great time.

Well I got a 50% on my first college test ever (Biology)
so, that made me realize that I need to get my shit together and buckle down.
I'm doing better in my other classes, and I'm doing a lot to study more for biology

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

SGD 111 (Intro to Simulation & Game Development) - 90 [A]

SGD 112 (Game Design 1) - 91 [A]

SGD 116 (Graphic Design Tools) - 88.5 (Don't post this grade again)

MAT 121 (Algebra/Trigonometry) - 76.2 [C]

Awesome, you're going into game design? I'd love to but I just don't know how sustainable it is :(

And mathzz sucks.

Math is awesome. You just need confidence.

Agreed! Math is KING of all sciences!

I haven't done a single bit of work for my masters. Not even opened a book. 5 weeks in awwh yeah!

The cramming countdown has begun.
