He probably just did it in the heat of the moment. But still if it was me i would of remained calm and just forced her off the bus. But the driver did have every right to do that.

She did push him first, so i doubt he'll get charged with assault. If anything it would be ruled a fight, but since he did it in capacity of his job he'll probably be fired. Though she could have added endangerment charges of some sort for interfering with public transportation.
