Although the numbers above kind of showed this already. I guess we can shave 1k off the max possible Vita hardware sales.

It also appears that both versions of TTT2 were overtracked, but the 360 version moreso.

i wonder how vgc could believe a 360 marketshare of 53%, wasn't it always under 50% this year?

and i wonder even more how someone can like to see the industry he "loves" to sell even worse as vgc expected...how the love for one company can be so big to like to see overall lower sales is beyond me

Madden is undertracked again this year like last year. We got official first week sales from EA and VGZ stuff still cant track properly? Maybe someone is not doing his job.

3DS is doing solid. I think this prooves portable gaming is not dead. Just too expensive.

Too expensive? No. It's all about the games.

The 3DS is cheaper than every other mainstream tablet out there.(MUCH cheaper than the iPad and the old iPod models)
3DS is very affordable. 

Now, Vita is a different story. It is not being marketed towards families like the 3DS, so I say the price is reasonable. It is more Playstation fans and tech-geeks. All Vita needs to break through to the mainstream is games based on popular franchises.

I have a colleague who works in the same department as I do. He bought the Vita in its first weeks, and altoguh the Device cost 249€ you have to buy a "Memorycard" as well which costs about 30€ as well. This makes 279€ total which is too for much for a Portable Device. The Vita has Uncharted and I would buy it for 150€ but right is far too much.

The "new" gen needs to start quickly and strongly. Besides XBOX 360 and DS (Seriously is it selling this much?) everything else is meh...
Even 3DS which is 'OK', is still below the 7 year old dinosaur (XBOX 360) and barely above the PS3. I thought it would easily be in the top spot until Wii U comes out.
