I don't believe he ever denied voting for the wars.  He just mentioned Ryan did... knowing that Ryan wouldn't mention the fact that Biden did as well... because it only helps Obama.

and that coincidentally Biden was one of the main driving democrats who rustled up enough support to invade Iraq.

"And, by the way, they talk about this Great Recession if it fell out of the sky, like, 'Oh, my goodness, where did it come from?' It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, to at the same time put a prescription drug benefit on the credit card, a trillion-dollar tax cut for the very wealthy. I was there. I voted against them. I said, no, we can't afford that."

He not only claimed to have voted against the wars, but against Medicare Part D as well.

CBS News poll for uncommitted voters voted Biden as the winner. 50% to Ryans's 31%. So this poll is invalid.

I'm pretty sure your poll is some kind of conspiracy.

Yeah, I thought he said he voted against the wars, but it's also possible he was just speaking about the rx and tax cuts now that I look at the transcript.
Either way, he should have clarified.

Im not debating Ryan did good he sucked, so did Biden.

Either way I stand that there wasnt even moderating here. She tried to back Ryan into several corners and never really made any attempt to do the same to Biden. Ryan was far too passive and not strong enough Im not favoring him. I just did not like the moderating 1 bit

He voted for Part D, as well.

Everyone just says "both sucked". What is a good debate then?
In two elections on vgc, I have not seen one debate called "good"

lol

So it's worse then. I'll admit, it's pretty bad to point a finger at someone when you've done the same, but it wasn't really a huge point either.

Biden denied knowing there was a request for more security? Pathetic... I'm watching fact checker right now

Biden denying that he voted for the wars... but he did... how the fuck do you forget about that?

I don't believe he ever denied voting for the wars.  He just mentioned Ryan did... knowing that Ryan wouldn't mention the fact that Biden did as well... because it only helps Obama.

I'm pretty sure the fact checker said he voted against the budget and wars but he in fact voted for the budget until the last one that Bush signed in and he did vote for both the wars.

Maybe i missed it... but i also saw a fact checker say Paul Ryan was wrong when he called the 6,500 number misleading... because the group who said it, in fact said it was 6,500.

Ignoring the fact that Paul Ryan wasn't disputing the 6,500 number... but that the 6,500 they reached was flawed in it's methodology.

Sort of like if I mentioned that Gregory said you were a liar about who your voting for.   Then you said what gregory said was misleading... and then they decided in fact I was right because gregory said you were a liar.

Fact Checkers are all kinds of incompetent lately.  At worst, they're partisian hacks now... at best, they ignore all relvent context in favor for a quick fact check that can be accomplished by google, rather then a deep analysis of the differing reports, why the reports differ, and in which cases you would expect said reports to be more accurate.
