Holy crap! Is Sony gonna become software only?

It would be pretty smart if they made demos for PS titles available on all devices, but the full games only on PS. Or at least list PS titles and their synopsis/rating/whatever, but label it "only available on PS" or something, it'd be like almost free marketing.
If I could connect a Dual Shock 3 to the tablet, I would gladly play Uncharted on it.

Minecraft is selling a lot because it's Minecraft... |
While your right, its also the platform. Live has soo much regular activity from different users. Active users on Live is untouchable by te other consoles manufacturers at the momennt.
Plenty of games are over the 1 million mark and several have 2-3 million sales. Thats why Live has so many developers excluisves and a load more to choose from. also Microsoft invest heavily into their own XBL exclusives which shows in the exclusive list for the network and the high praise it recieves.
I'm confused, is Sony really going to offer its PS3 exclusives? or is just a service for the PS3 and Vita?

But that's like saying MS are crazy going up against Valve (Steam)...ALL of them are proven and all of them have games that sell really well. Now, if Sony did this and actually put FULL PS3 games that you could play instantly on any hardware, they would have nothing to fear from XBL games. |
True. On Windows though it would have Live to deal with. Not Android or IOS though. As Xbox Live in that way will never be on them.
Interesting move, I didn't see it coming.
As a PC gamer I will gladly try some of their games if the service become available at my country.

Not really seeing myself playing those games without buttons, specially the fps. But good news I guess.
I imagine this is for testing the waters with cloud gaming without putting in danger their home consoles or handhelds, really smart move.
Nintendo and PC gamer

Umm, Gaikai for Android? I am a total noob when it comes to iOS/Android but wouldn't that potentially mean that I can play PS3 games on the Ouya? Buttons and all?
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Yes and with a PS3 controller.
