Then what the hell have you been doing the past 6 years!?

Bein' a yes man of course. Yamauchi was a foul foul being. Lolz He had his strengths, but Nintendo is much better without him nowadays. He was much too vengeful.

Promoting a console that was based on something else.

Then we should have both.

And if it can only be one or the other, then I'd take great games over graphics and online functionality any day of the week.

Granted. But when there is a competing console with great games and great graphics and great online functionality, games that you can't have as a Nintendo-only console owner, because the console doesn't offer the right HW capabilities, it harms the value of the console you own.

Example. I'm playing SFIV on the 360 and enjoying the community on there. Can't have that on the Wii. To a lesser extent, I have it on the 3DS but the graphics are better on the 360, and the community is more dense. Though the controls are imho MUCH BETTER on the 3DS (this is a fighting game after all), I prefer compete in a community the members of which I believe I will have more chances of running into at the arcades.

The 3rd party support of the Wii U seems to be weak already IMO.
Late ports of Xbox 360 / PS3 games that are more than a year old won't do the trick.

Zombie U and Rayman are the only 3rd party titles that might have an impact and are really made for that console.
Bayonetta 2 was due to a payment from Nintendo, so I call it 2nd party.

I think the Wii U is keeping Xbox 360 and PS3 alive actually.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Great post. Reggie is sounding bad ass again, and I do believe that Wii U will have a longer life than the Wii. Nintendo basically killed Wii when they announced Wii U in 2011. Before the E3, Wii was the best selling console , or almost this, but then it went downhill after E3 2011.

Reggie seu lindo, fique aí na NoA pra sempre, você é o melhor da sua função.

We need moar Zelda, now!

We need moar Unchartedzz!

We need less DLCs.

What about synchronized ports, would those satisfy you?

In other words, what would bolster 3rd party support on the Wii U in your eyes? More exclusives?

They'll need to get the Big 3rd party Games current/next gen bridge titles like Starwars 1313, Metal Gear: Ground Zero, Watchdogs and Bungie's "Desitny" before I believe this.

Out of those games I'd only care for watchdogs, and since that one was confirmed for PS360, the Wii U could handle a port of it and pretty much every other game mentioned.

It's a matter of 3rd parties wanting to, not IF the console can run it. Because it can.

Oh yeah Reggie! Kick those other companies butts!

Of course Reggie says this. I'm sure he likes his job.

Which is not to say he thinks WiiU is doomed, just that even if he did, he'd still be saying this.
