Forums - Nintendo - Destructoid gives Code of Princess a...

I just played the game for 3 hours straight... and I've fallen in love with it. This game is so good and it has a lot of content. The missions may not be long (longest played so far is seven minutes), but there are hundreds of them to pick from. Not to mention the sheer of amount of characters to play as.

It's perfect for both a bus ride home and a deep gaming experience. I never played Guardian Heroes, but if it's better than this game, I need to get!

I want to go back in time where princesses had less clothes on than homeless hobos , talk about giving everything to your kingdom.

Very nice!

Lady Zozo, is she cool? Not in a she's cool cause she's dead kinda of way. Is she a good character as she looks?

I've only played as her once, but she is a very good character (story and gameplay wise). She's definetly a magic type, but she doesn't know any healing magic (odd, huh).

Future advice: Make sure you give her lots of MP, you'll need it!

My main character is Solange. She plays a lot like Ike from Brawl and has good combos.

Holy crap! I just learn that Zozo can hover like Peach in Smash Bros.! She's so awesome!

I got this today and it's great BUT there are *a lot* of 'exploits'* that make the game very, very easy. (I will refrain from enumerating them so as not to detract from others' enjoyment.)

Still, for all intents and purposes, this is Guardian Heroes 3, and a worthy one at that.

(GH had the same issue with easy exploits making the game a breeze to beat.)

*By this I mean: moves that are easy to pull off and not moored to your mana pool and with which the AI cannot cope.

i just recently realized, the guy that did the artwork for this game is one of the greats, imo

Some of his designs for Street Fighter II (and other capcom games)  back then were hugely influential to me.

This game looks incredible.

Can't wait to get me a 3DS.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I hear it still has the occasional framerate issue but much improved from the Japanese version. Hopefully they're all ironed out for the PAL release.

Only when a lot of enemies are on screen, but it's still playable. The animations are really nice by the way (when the framerate is right).
