It pains me that so many people are mentioning Dishonored yet no one has mentioned Hitman. :(

Halo 4 looks looks to be a shoe-in this year for GOTY, but it might get some competition from:
Assassin's Creed 3
Borderlands 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Mass Effect 3
Max Payne

I wish that I gave a crap about this award show but it just lacks credibility to me. The nominations will more than likely be:

1. Borderlands 2
2. Mass Effect 3
3. Diablo 3
4. Max Payne 3
5. Assassins Creed 3

Halo 4 or Black cops 2 might take the ME3 spot but I doubt it. If they include a Wii U game then I'll be surprised.

First, lets reflect on the Turds of The Year(TOTY) based on hype.

I'll start of with saying that the VGA's are a bloody joke, but for the lulz:

not a great year really. 2009, 2010 and especially 2011 were far superior in terms of quality games. 2013 looks like an amazing year for games too.

Because it is not out yet. It could be great but it could crap as well. I find it amusing how people are still crediting Assassins Creed and think its going to be Game of the Year. No AC was ever GOTY and never will be.

But it wont. It will be the same thing as Revelations all over again. At least thats haw the Gameplay footages look like. I can´t understand why people believe so much in this game and noone is even mentioning Hitman. Which looks much more promising to me.

The winners might be a joke becaus it's based off of popular vote but the nominations are pretty good
