I think the point is about he will cut something that probably is a good things for the country PBS and ignore big important things like Wall Street corruption.

But I would hate to see what happens to PBS if it went for profit and became like TLC with 'Honey Boo Boo' The History Chanel, or the Syfy channel that use to actually show science fiction and now just blow B movies.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Obama FTW!

I guess whoever wins, you lose, US citizens. Germany's politicians are pretty aweful too but watching The Daily Show makes me feel better about them. Shit like this wouldn't fly over here.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

That's not the point at all. Or, if it is, it's highly hypocritical, considering how Obama's basically been Wall Street's best buddy, these past 4 years.

As for cutting PBS, I say go for it. Always go for the low-hanging fruit first.

Yes, the GOP that wants to cut funding going to Sesame Workshop, is going to approach them to use a character to support a campaign to cut their funding.  And of course, Sesame Workship is going to be more than happy to do that.

I'm not sure why they would even care. They make a ton off of merchandising and licensing. One of the dumbest arguments floating around is that they take so little money from the government, Romney can't kill Big Bird even though he really really really wants to. But he doesn't really really really want to kill Big Bird. He just thinks that we shouldn't be giving money we don't have to something that can so easily stand on its own two gigantic bird feet.

I hope it was meant to be just what it is... a tongue-in-cheek ad.

Damn that was awful!! Obama had such a great campaign last time, but this is just sad... I really hope this is a joke!! But I still think that Obama is better equipped to be president than Romnay...

Yeah, it's just a joke. It's meant to show that even though Romney won the debate, he didn't really put out much information on what he'd cut, in a comedic way.

It's interesting that for Obama supporters that is how you view the ad. Because you like him your brain makes you assume the ad is good. On the oppossite side, people who are against Obama see this ad as a moronic attempt at grasping straws because they already expect the ad to suck. What do people who don't care think of this ad? Is it great because it is good or great because it is stupid?

I never said the ad was good, I just said that it is intended to show that Mitt Romney cutting funding to PBS isn't going to fix the deficit, and he won't say what else he will cut.

If they got paid for licensing it for the ad, that would be a different story.  But, I don't see where they would give permission for use for free, when a candidate says he is going to cut their funding.
