Forums - Nintendo - Just Dance 4 on the Wii is going to outsell all other versions even though the Wii is dying and will supposedly get passed up by the HD twins in certain territories

JD3 actually outsold JD2 in the same holiday timeframe despite having a much worse launch.
The lead was as high as 2.24m units after week 14, but JD3 proved to have far worse legs and its current lead is only 1.15m after 55 weeks (and further sinking).

Decreasing Wii sales won't help the series and people won't buy a WiiU to play Just Dance 4. If you do, there is a good chance you're simply taking a sale away from the Wii version, since you seem to be a fan of the series.

Overall I expect the Wii+WiiU version of Just Dance 4 to be selling worse than Just Dance 1. With JD4 on Kinect it might have a decent chance to sell more than the first.

After seeing the Skylanders Giants games and figurines and other merchandise quickly sell almost out I think that there will be some interest in the Wii this Holiday. Parents and others will be worried that they cannot get a Wii U and the Wii will be their next best option. Skylanders is not the only game they will want. Just Dance 4 is perfect. Blus girls still like Bieber and he is all over it!

With the Wii U around the corner and recent sales being so abysmal I'd counted the Wii out for this holiday, but you may be right, it may just have one last holiday left in it after all thanks to JD4 and Giants.

Well, in my opinion, Dance Central is where it's at.  I'm not interested in Just Dance.

That's fine, just wanted to respond to a derailing and unrelated comment in a Just Dance thread. Its like if this was a PS3 thread and I entered and said WiiU is better.

Man, derailing just came so naturally to me that I didn't even notice that I had done it.....and Halo 4 is going to outsell the Last of Us by like 6 million copies.
