4.5 shipped = sold to Capcom - HOWEVER if sales at retail don't match that then expect price to drop like mad and no RE-ORDERS.

If retailers don;t sell the stock then they won;t order more stock - meaning it may not even pass 5m. But lets see sales figures 1st before jumping to conclusions.

I expect it to be bargain bin'd in 3 months.

As much as i hate RE6 i am suprised that RE6 seems to sell quite well even though the game suck

Shipped doesn't even mean sold to capcom, in my college years I worked in a warehouse handling games the company involved had the option to send copies back to the supplier after a certain amount of time if they didn't sell, although most retailers opt for fire sales to off load access stock though.

Also this makes fire sales more likely to get rid of access stock if the game doesn't sell well and could damage capcoms ability to sell large quantities of games to retailers in the future.

Saying that the Resident evil name of the box is probably more than enough to shift a few million copies alone despite the game quantity.

Like damoxuk said, Capcom was LUCKY to get that many copies out to retail stores, with the game being extremely short and reviews being critical, the game will be 19.99 in 3 months and they will not sell out their initial shipment due to the high volume of used copies that are going to be out there.

Didn't care all that much for the demo, but if it does get a hefty price cut soon I probably will end up getting it.
