Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 Entertainment Bundle will run you $229 exclusively through Amazon

VG247

The Xbox 360 Entertainment Bundle, exclusive to Amazon, has popped up on the retail site.

For $229 you’ll get: a 4GB console, three months of XBL Gold, $10 in Instant Amazon Video credit, three XBL games, and a 360 media remote.

The games shown in the picture on Amazon are: Lode Runner, Snoopy Flying Ace, and R-Type Dimensions – although the written description never mentions the titles.

Basically, if you were planning on buying all these items anyway, purchasing the bundle will save you $50.

I wonder just how many people were planning on buying exactly all of these things.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Unfortunately, the 3 XBLA games are 'Lode Runner', 'Snoopy: Flying Ace', and 'R-Type: Dimensions'. Seems like a decent bundle otherwise, though I think that $199 would've been the sweet spot.

MS.. Y U NO PRICE CUT???

Yay!!!

So...no price cut for America?

Doesn't look like it and that bundle is pretty lame.  I would wait until the usual holiday bundle hits the stores (the one that comes with two games) that's a much better deal if I wanted to buy another 360.  I'm sure all consoles will have pretty good deals on Black Friday that's only eight weeks away.

Wish MS does an official 4 gb bundle. Either Lego Batman (fore the casuals) or a couple XBLA games would do.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

seems like microsoft really doesn't care too much to reduce the price just to sell more to look better on sites like vgchartz^^ they seem to be happy with less sold consoles and a good margin per console

Y Y ?

MS has no reason to cut the price...

I'm guessing this is to compete with the Wii U, which I think is a futile attempt by Microsoft anyway, but I may be wrong.

I thought Wii U could make Sony and MS reconsider their prices. But it appears that Microsoft will do the same as Sony and let retailers make their own bundles.

Both MS and Sony are not interested in fighting for marketshare anymore.  Increasing profitability seem more important now.

No price cut now.
