Just played with a Wii u demo station. Soooooo awesome! Screen works perfect and the sensitivity is flawless. Played rayman and it great.

Good to hear the positive reactions of the Wii U due to the kiosk. That's exactly what Nintendo wanted from the demo stations.

Saw it today in Gamestop and I was quite satisfied with it. I'm not worried about anything anymore. Well, maybe one thing--the Wii U console is long as fuck! It's like a little futuristic train or something.

Haha yeah it was really long, but you should get the black version so you wont notice the lengthiness of it ;)

I AM getting the black one!  It's already paid off, too.  I'm afraid the black on may actually be even longer.  That could just be a myth, though.

The controller was wider than I'm used to, even back from the original Xbox 1 days...

The Rayman demo had bits where you completely sacrificed control of the character for Gamepad control. Everything was functional, but it will take some getting used to looking at the TV, then the screen...

The grip I had on the controller wasn't comfortable, but that might have been because it was tethered SO CLOSELY to the TV screen. I just couldn't get a good grip.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Yeah I get what your saying about Rayman becoming an AI to controll Murphy with the touch screen. I think that's just for demo purposes and Ubi said you will be playing Rayman majority of the time without Murphy's aid. I guess every new hardware has their period of adjustments; getting use to. I tried the Wii U many many times during my time at E3, some Wi U events, and third-party invitations. There, I really got to fully experience Wii U, both the hardware and its software, and it's been an amazong experience. I guess it's time to get use to swtiching between the tv and the screen 'cause that's pretty much everyones going, including Microsoft and Sony.

That was my biggest fear about Rayman Legends. This game is shaping up to be a 10/10 for me :D

Yep, looks good. I never had any doubts about the quality of the touch screen. But, I'm still not interested in anything more than a standard controller. All that swiping just isn't my bag, baby.

I was the same way before. I thought smartphones and tablet gaming was a huge fad....but then I decided to get an iPod.

It's amazing how much touch controls add to a device. If they can add touch controls to AAA games in a way that makes sense, I'm in.

I have a Galaxy Note and I love it. Touch is perfect for portable computing or simple navigation in general. But that doesn't mean I want touch and swipe in my favorite games like Zelda and Mario. I never warmed up to motion controls either and wish Zelda SS let me use a classic controller. Motion controls are great for games like Wii Sports, just like touch is great for games like Angry Birds. But I don't want Mario and Zelda to be like that. Two good things don't always go together.

It's like this for me. I love Tacos and Pizza, but I hate Taco-Pizza. I understand that there are plenty of people who like Taco-Pizza, but I don't and I never will.
