I was the same way before. I thought smartphones and tablet gaming was a huge fad....but then I decided to get an iPod. It's amazing how much touch controls add to a device. If they can add touch controls to AAA games in a way that makes sense, I'm in. |
I have a Galaxy Note and I love it. Touch is perfect for portable computing or simple navigation in general. But that doesn't mean I want touch and swipe in my favorite games like Zelda and Mario. I never warmed up to motion controls either and wish Zelda SS let me use a classic controller. Motion controls are great for games like Wii Sports, just like touch is great for games like Angry Birds. But I don't want Mario and Zelda to be like that. Two good things don't always go together.
It's like this for me. I love Tacos and Pizza, but I hate Taco-Pizza. I understand that there are plenty of people who like Taco-Pizza, but I don't and I never will.
