2. Assassin's Creed
3. Valkyria Chronicles
4. Batman: Arkham series
5. LittleBigPlanet

This list was harder than I thought it would be. Not as many good new IPs this generation compared to the previous ones imo.

yea, especially japanese devs/publisher's hardly pushed out any new big IPs

3. Ace Attorney (I know it started on GBA, but only in Japan, so for westerners it's a new IP)
4. Bioshock
5. Trauma Center

These kinds of things tend to change day to day with me. But as of right now I feel like the following:

Of the new IPs with at least 1 sequel for this gen:

1. Portal
2. Mass Effect
3. Bioshock
4. Gears of War
5. Uncharted

6. Alan Wake

But my favorite games this gen are:

1. Halo 3/ODST/Reach (Expecting Halo 4 to top the list)
2. Portal 1/2
3. Mario Galaxy 1/2
4. Mass Effect 1/2/3
5. Metroid Trilogy
6. Bioshock
7. Zelda SS
8. Gears of War 1/2/3
9. Transformers WFC
10. Tomb Raider Legend/Anniversary/Underworld

I really wish I could say Fallout, I know it's not a new IP but it's nothing like it's predecessors...but anyways here's my top 5:

1) Uncharted - How could this not be in your top 5 really, just such a well made game.
2) Resistance - Would have been a better series if R2 hadn't strayed so far from FoM but whatever...still good
3) Portal - No explanation needed
4) Assassin's Creed - I only ever beat the first one, and got somewhat far in the 2nd...but I'll still put it in my top 5
5) Borderlands - Fun game, didn't play it that extensively but enjoyed it.

Also I kinda wish I could put Modern Warfare up there, but I guess it would have to be Call of Duty...which isn't a new IP. Even though MW2 was meh and MW3 straight sucked...MW1 was good enough to carry the series into my top 5.
