Forums - Gaming Discussion - 5 Favorite New IP's/Franchises This Generation(7th) Of Consoles

Haha, nice topic.  I'd never really thought about this until you brought it up, but it's definitely interesting.  For me:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

So yeah... my interest in new IP's has been propped up pretty much solely by Sony's first party and Valve

Around the Network

1.Uncharted
2.Gears of War
3.Mass Effect
4.Borderlands
5.Little Big Planet

1). Mass Effect
2). Batman Arkham _____
3). Gears of War
4). Resistance
5). LittleBigPlanet

Demon's Souls & Dark Souls. Honestly, nothing else comes close.

Thank God I don't have a PS3, otherwise it would have been more difficult.

Without any specific order:

Borderlands
Saints Row
The Witcher
Mass Effect
Assassins Creed

Didn't make the top 5: Darksiders, Endless Ocean, Bioshock, and others.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

It's tough to come up with this list, seems that a lot of my favourite games are continuing from last generation, I would love to add Fallout to the list because it was completely redesigned but it's origins were in the 90's and I don't think I can really count that.

I came very close to listing Fallout 3/NV as an honorable mention, as well.  It might not be a new IP, but the gamestyle is obviously different, and those are two of my favorite games of the generation.

...Also the Nintendo DS started this gen in 2004
