Look for any app you liked on WP, it'll be there.
Jump into all of Google's services as they are awesome and free.

Don't worry about any type of app killer as they all are pointless on unix based devices.
Google Wallet is awesome. I use it to buy stuff all the time.

I'd also check out the stock experience before jumping to 3rd party launchers/media etc. Its really improved a lot with Android 4.x. You should have Android 4.0.4 (ICS) already and Android 4.1 is coming out as I type this. Check daily for when its avail in your territory. Has a lot of great new things.

Yep already got most of the Google services. And I believe I have Android 4.0.1 right now (my carrier is slow to update so I probably won't get 4.1 for a good while after it releases.)

What do you mean by the stock experience? The Samsung/Google apps it came with?

tmobile is a gsm phone, you're updates should still be quick. 4.1 is known to be coming out any day now on your phone.

For stock experience, I literally mean using something else as the launcher or media player or mms/sms app or camera app etc.

Check out a game called "Where's my Water?"

It's so goddamn addicting and fun. It's the only game on my phone that I ever took a big interest in.

Oh and Ski Safari is the only mobile game I play.

Very addictive!

Cool, glad you like it! I'm a satisfied Galaxy S2 owner. I don't know if I want the S3 though, seems like a really big phone.

4.1 won't be coming out until October I thought (and then it usually takes a month for Tmobile to give the update to us)

And yeah I know the stock stuff on this phone is better than any alternative.

@Marks: The S3 is actually a bit big for my tastes (I would prefer a 4.3-4.5 inch) but I'm sure when it comes to games it's going to be pretty nice!

I found an app that makes texting very easy (much better than the useless normal texting on that phone) It's called SwiftKey 3. Also those 25 cent app deals are quite amazing. The Office Suite pro is such a great app (and that was one of the reasons I wanted to go with a W8P as my next phone).

Now my only real complaint is uninstalling/rating/finding apps on your phone. If there's an app that will let me pick what I want to do by just having me press down on the app for a second or two (like windows phones) I'll be so happy!

Galaxy SIII is the best !

for console like experience you should try:

the dark knight rises
Rayman jungle run
Dead Space
Oscura (very similar to Limbo)

for other games that are plain fun you should try:

spy mouse
subway surf
Granny Smith

for beautiful live wallpaper try anything by the developer dualboot such as Beach HD, Ocean HD, Celtic garden HD....etc
