^Yeah, I agree with that... next week PSP will have a huge hit releasing (gundam)... exactly the week Vita gets 4 new games. It's like they don't care, this will totally impact those software sales.

Vita is doing great for a non Nintendo handheld! 3DS need more big games though!
boring week as most weeks

Well, well well well. That PSP price cut certainly did it's job... of making the Vita look worse! (I wonder if FF III had any effect as well).
Other than that: LBP PS Vita opens poorly, but higher than the PSP version did. I'm not quite sure why everyone's expectations were seemingly so high for this game. I was expecting it to open lower than the PSP version seeing as Vita has about 1/10th of the install base comparatively...
Also: Kingdoms of Amalur #5, good heavens.
3DS is doing ok but not gangbusters - it could reach 5m sales this year but that's still far from the over 8m the DS posted back in its high time. The XL didn't do a lot to push 3DS sales, what Nintendo needs is a "3DS Lite" with a more mass market feeling (lighter, better looking, less complicated design. battery life improvements) and a subsequent lower price point of the current model. I hope they got one ready for 2013.
The Vita reminds me a lot of the N64's sales pace - a huge first week followed by low sales. Just like the N64 the Vita is having trouble to sell 10k units a week. The N64 reached that 1 million units mark quite a bit faster, though. Gamecube was much faster as well. At least those consoles had a user base right from the start - the Vita still doesn't even have that 1 million units base installed. I am still hoping for the Vita to turn out like the PSP did - lots of good games for very low prices. But that won't happen with those kinds of sales.
3DS doing fine then,
they have had a price cut for vita haven't they and colours too
Next week for "next gen" portables

Some hardware boost is expected. I don't think software will do gangbusters though. Prediction: 60k

Kokuga - a shmup. If it even chart, it'll be low. Prediction: 4-6k, but probably won't chart in a week with so many releases, imo.
Nobunaga's ambition. Maybe some good numbers here. Prediction: 360 did awful. PS3 did ok. Vita will do middle term so... around 20-30k FW.

Another one that could do some good numbers. Very hard to tell, though. Prediction: 40k.

Have no idea... no prediction.

Another one that might pull ok numbers. Hmm, trailing a lot behind in COMG net... but I say 30-40k FW.
And the undisputed king of the week:

No predictions, but t's going to be big.
Definitely Vita's busiest week of the year.
How much did Girl's Mode sell it's first week on the DS? I remember it reaching up to 900k LTD, iirc.

Around 86k.
It was during the golden year of 2008, though.

Hmmm... yeah, I think your 60k prediction is spot on.
