Some people can't stand the fact that Nintendo is actually going to have the superior hardware, even if it's only for a year or two, until Sony and MS's next consoles come out. They can't stand that their favorite game, Call of Duty, is actually going to look the BEST on a Nintendo console. Think about it. For the past 6 years - well 10 years if you count the Gamecube, Nintendo was supposed to be the "kiddie" or "casualz" company that inferior gamers played on inferior hardware. Nintendo may have had the sales, they may have had Mario and Zelda, but the "hardcore" gamers had the superior horsepower to hang their hats on, and they had superior third party games. Now that the hardware advantage has been taken away from them, and the third party gap seems to be closing in as well, they are in damage control mode.

Well...
I really dislike how PC is never part of the equation.

PC has always been a distinct beast. That's the whole reason why we still have game consoles in the first place, and how they've managed to coexist for decades.

Still, the PC gets a version and that version is usally the best looking one. I only said that because why would the PS3/360 gamers care how the Wii U version looks since they don't care how the PC version looks?

Hmmm.... Any other multiplatform game, it's always a battle between which game is better between PS3 & 360 (which is the lead platform, which version of the game runs better, which has exclusive DLC releasing first, etc).  Soon as the Wii U is rumored to have the superior version of the a multiplat game, suddenly the PC becomes a part of the conversation...

In all or most of the threads on VGC that I've seen regarding multiplat PS360 games, the PC rarely if ever come up (because everyone knows that'd be the superior version).  But now, here we go all of a sudden.  Just sayin'.

That's what I was saying...

Lets just agree that the Wii U version will be the BEST LOOKING CONSOLE VERSION this year. No excuse!!!

The only way to know that is wait for the release. They said it would be on par with other HD versions so I don't know who to believe

Fair, I just hope fanboys don't spin down the improvements on the Wii U.

You people do know that this hasn't been confirmed right? For all we know its upscaled.

Nope its 100% confirmed native 1080p60FPS.

I know this guy who was talking to a dude on the street who is friends with a janitor in Activision who is having an affair with the wife of a developer on the WiiU version of the game. She told him that its 1080p60fps right after a successful blow job.

As opposed to a failed blow job?  Yes, do explain that so this thread gets moved to the NSFW area .

I would say no matter what, the Wii U version is the better version due to the fact that it'll absolutely have to at the very least look on par with the 360/PS3 versions, but the Wii U will have peripherals to it.  You'll have multiple controls and a better way for split-screens.

edit: Essentially what I'm saying is that the Wii U will at least have everything the PS3/360 versions will have, and more.

I am curious if there is any reason why the WiiU version of Black Ops 2 won't feature 5 player in the same room play, with one person on the controller, and 4 player split screen.

I've never really played CoD on a console, I only first tried it out on PC and only there so I really am not sure if there are any issues that would come up in doing that.  However, from what I've seen, local multiplayer on FPS games don't really go past 2 players unless you're connected wirelessly (separate screens).

Call of Duty does 4 player split screen, just like Halo, on the XBox 360 console.  So, I was curious if 5 player would be doable.
