NASA - Nintendo was possibly working with either NASA or JAXA (Japan's NASA) to launch the Lido-239 project. Supposedly a satellite to be dedicated to online play and communications between consoles. Sadly, it never happened.
Holograms - Nintendo jointly owns a patent with InPhase Technologies, a company that has designed a holographic storage system. But he comapny hasn't had luck getting it to market yet.
