I hope LBP Vita has insane replay value because I just cancelled all preorders after that. I just can't justify to drop 45€ per game on a dying system and rather wait 2-3 months and pick up the games I want for 20€ or less.

Plenty of people are not willing to pay full price for a videogame when it releases unless it's really special (I'm one of those people!)  It just makes no sense unless you're incredibly hyped for it to not wait 1 month and have £10+ knocked off the price.

What does that have to do with how well the Vita is doing, though?  If you're hyped for a game you're hyped for a game, regardless of how many other people are buying the system.

It doesn't matter if I am hyped about a game or not. I am hyped about more games than I can play anyway. It just makes sense for me to buy only those games full price that will not drop in price for a long time. With this way of thinking Nintendo games go to the top of the list by default. I wanted to wait for a Donkey Kong Country Returns price drop until I get it and here I am, almost 2 years later, still haven't played the game and it's still sold for full price everywhere. I am looking forward to play Assassins Creed Liberation and Soul Sacrifice but as it looks right now, I can easily pick these games up 3 months after launch for a good discount. Right now I'm even considering to hold off on all vita purchases until next years summer drought. Games should be really cheap by then.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Going by Famitsu, I nailed my prediction of 60k for Medarot 7. Decent-good debut, since the series is long past it's prime - now's the thing is Little Battlers Xperience. Can someone explain me why the second game is bombing COMGnet? Smart fans waiting for the innevitable Boost (and then the even more innevitable Explosive Boost) version?

Art Academy did ok too. First week means nothing here. Looks like a solid game - some amateur works on it look incredible - but the ship for this type of game on a portable has sailed.

Samurai Chronicles 2nd did good too, considering it's one of those "free money/same game, little more features" sales. The sales of the previous version was very inflated too, being a launch title.

Run for money has now better legs than any 3DS game before I think. First it did a never seen before raise (+900%) but now it's constantly doing positive growths and not the rare +7%... but the "shiny pokémon" rare 69%! Really shocking.

Taiko is doing great, but for lost heroes I expected more. Borderline bomba for me.

Mario's legs are starting to show. Hatsune Miku hung pretty well too. Will most likely overcome persona... and we'll only know the winner in MC top 500 (hint: will be persona)

Little Battlers Xperience is not good to follow on COMGnet. The first one  did 115pt and opened at 160k, a way higher. The next entries didn't get to the chart and debuted at 65k (PSP) and 55k (3DS). The game still has a month to go, so it's doing fine.

Yeah, I wrote this before you corrected boutros in COMG thread.

What is the "WS"?

It's Wonderswan, a Bandai portable system.

Started ok-ish in 1999, was much stronger than the GB, had some Final Fantasies Remakes... but couldn't resist the GBA in the end.

Some big franchises here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WonderSwan_games

Fun fact: the creator of WS is actually Gunpei Yokoi, the same guy that created the Gameboy. And Metroid. And the Love Testar Love Testar!

Poor Tekken. Fighting games have fallen so far.

Rune Factory still chugging! And Taiko Drum Master is a beast. 2011 PSP game in the charts.

Tales of Vesperia had a cheaper re-release? Let's drive up that gap!

Terry Wonderland's still in the top 30 by Media Create.

Hmm... that 1 million might be possible. You know what could help Square? Localization.
