Yeah, you're right, the first game did okay over there.  I'm guessing maybe people were more willing to try it out as it was new or something, or perhaps it was bundled.  I know the first Ratchet & Clank game was bundled really heavily in Japan which gave it inflated figures

Regardless, I think I've said what I came here to say.  Thanks for the resource in any case, it's really interesting, gonna be useful to look things up for in future!
