he-he I do like the fact that this guy riles up all the Wii fans. 
On-topic. The guy's clearly wrong cos he attributes the Wii's success only to it's price which we know isn't the case. It's low price in comparison with the 360 and PS3 gave it the jump start it needed (along with it's control system), but now it's moving under it's own momentum and nothing else will catch up with it.
PS3 will take 2nd place this generation tho, both worldwide and even in America (*IF* Sony gets its marketing and games sorted out).

Wii ist selling because of excellent games and good/ easy controls, but not because of momentum. Games and Wiimote will not disappear if the price of the PS3 will be at 299 € /$.
Some analysts, magazines or fanboys will never understand the success of the wii, so they keep on playing Wii Bingo.

I sold 11 Wiis on Ebay, 8 went for around £250/£260, 2 went for £300 and for the final one I was given £350 cash in hand.People will clearly pay a lot more for the Wii so it's not only selling just because it's cheper than PS3.
And Nintendo have the luxury of being able to lower the price of the Wii when it stops selling which I suspect will bring another series of shortages.
Even if all that happened, Pachter ignored the most important point: production costs. A lot of people would buy a PS3 for 300 or less, but this does not make the game development process easier or faster.

For once i agree with Pachter. About the PS3 price year from now. But will it change things? Nope. Wii keeps still selling better and if supply exeeds demand (increased production and/or decreased demand) it's easy for Nintendo to drop Wiis price to increase demand.
