YOu WAS and you didnt, that means you didnt follow the game, like you are suggesting some of these people do ;)...but you are right it was being made regardless, so this isnt exactly the same situation, hell for all intents and purposes this isnt even a 3rd party game anymore

I explained to you that I didn't have enough money at the time, I couldn't afford it. I had the box in my hand when I realized I was running up my credit and it was a bad idea. And I played it in arcades too Oni, the year it came out. I did follow the game because I really did love it. To buy a console for just one game is a sign of that. The reason I opted out is personal.

But yeah, at this point Bayonetta is kind of like another Last Story, and Oni it makes sense because that's how Nintendo rolls and they've said so. They partner with some companies to help them complete and distribute games, but they don't moneyhat.

And how do you know thats not the case for at least SOME of the people who are upset?? Maybe they cant afford to plunk down money for a Wii U just like you couldnt afford to plunk down for 360. That doesnt make them or you less of a fan, sometimes you just cant get the money together. If that is there reasoning they have every right to not be happy, just like you werent happy that SF wasnt on Wii, hell Id go so far as to say they even have more legit reason to be uspet, the original B was released on a system they have. When was the last time a SF game was released on a NINTY home console?? But you went with Wii anyway(im sure you have your reasons, and they are probably good, HDs too expensive, you might be a bigger fan of Ninty games than SF, etc.)

I never said they moneyhatted and even though im not a fan of B or any of PG games (i find them kinda bland), this shows me that Ninty is being serious this time around, alot more than they were with Wii.

Yeah I'm just glad it's getting a sequel. If Nintendo makes a habit of saving obscure titles from oblivion maybe we can have a Viewtiful Joe 3 or dare I say Eternal Darkness 2

This is cool news. I never liked Bayonetta personally, but looks like good news for Nintendo. Those comments are hilarious. If only those who spoke such words actually did something about it. No sense in using such foul language when you're safe behind your computer monitor.

Well, to be honest I bought my Wii before considering SFIV and it was unknown at the time whether they would support Nintendo or not. So it's not like I had a choice.

Here, the WiiU is the first to the market, and they can use its capabilities that the PS360 don't have, and prospective console buyers know what they're missing if they opt to reject the WiiU. It wasn't my situation. Also, I had the option of buying the 360 Arcade for an affordable price. Had it been a PS3 exclusive it would have been a no-way buy for me at 600$ just for the one game. Yes, you're right, it's all relative. Ultimately the question is "How much am I willing to pay for this experience?" and if playing other games comes first, then that's their pre-rogative, and that has nothing to do with PG or Nintendo. Also, when I complain about Ubi or EA not bringing their games to Nintendo, I usually clearly say that it's not because I'm a fan of a certain game, but looking at it from a business perspective as a Nintendo fan. That's because I'm not a poser and I think you know that. Also, EA and some publishers choose to reject Nintendo consoles for reasons very different from why Bayonetta is exclusive, so I have better reasons to complain than what we've heard this far.

For the record, I didn't say you said they moneyhatted, I was just giving you info as for why Bayonetta is being published and supported by Nintendo (just adding some info).

Here's the thing. I spent 170$+Tax because I wanted to play Brawl. After my friends stopped playing online I didn't have much use for my Wii. So I spent more money and tried Metroid Prime games, Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess. Couldn't get into them. Twilight Princess was decent for a while but once I went dog mode for the second time, i just lost interest.

Anyway. I couldn't find anyone to take that stuff off my hands so I ended up trading that stuff in at gamestop and took a significant loss. I got about 3.5 weeks out of Brawl. In the case of Bayonetta, we're talking a single player game so I would likely get even less out of it.

Some people don't want to go through this. Do I agree with the way the Twitter uses in the OP are handling the situation? Hell no. But I fully understand why someone would be upset about a the sequal to a game they like not coming to a console they care for.

i feel your pain, i think i got even less time out of Brawl, and that was the main reason i got the Wii for. Luckily GE kinda became my new Brawl.

I see where you are coming from but what people arent getting is that this game was NOT going to come out anyway had it not been for Ninty. So really these guys could just act like the game doesnt exist if it bothers them that much because the alternative was that it wasnt going to exist.

I can totally agree with this. Problem is, the average gamer likely doesn't know about the situation Bayo2 was in. I didn't know until this whole twitter rage movement happened.

My answer.....move on.

A video game isn't worth getting mad over.

You can't call this childish. This maybe seem like a bunch of babies on the outside, but actually LISTEN to what the point is.
People have been asking for a Bayonetta 2 for a while and the first game, it was a multiplatform game for PS3 and 360. So obviously even if exclusive the game could have atleast been 360 or PS3 exclusive. Hell if it was a portable game for PS Vita, this would be more valid, cause sometimes they make portable games for a series which are exclusive. But a game like Bayonetta... Did you guys even play it? Who in there right mind would buy a Nintendo console expecting to play Bayonetta. Smh, these devs are forgetting how these games do on the Wii
The Wii had the same treatment at first with a bunch of sequels to ps2 and so on. Then when people start to see the other consoles fight back they all think mario, mario. Just like 3ds. They try but 3rd party just isn't nintendos thing. Wii U doesn't look bad by any means to me and I'm going to get on launch if i have enough preordered by the day. But I and many can't support non-sense. SEGA games I like in general and so on, hell I have EVERY Sonic game available on PS3 with 100% but Sonic CD which is like 40 cause I don't like it

It's up to 3rd party devs to make the system be about more than just mario mario. Also, do you realize Nintendo is sponsoring the game?? Maybe they couldn't make the games without that support, did that enter your mind?

So Nintendo sucks is quite a disrespectful insult to Nintendo who is actually making this game happen. So fans of it should stfu and say "thank you Nintendo".

It was worse when rare went from making the FF games Nintendo exclusive for 6 big games to Sony exclusive, because Nintendo and Square were actually allies, Nintendo supporting rare with dev effort and if I'm not mistaken even money, but you never saw shit like in OP.

Lets get something straight. I have NOTHING against Nintendo and don't blame them. I blame SEGA. Also as long as nintendo uses friend codes it shouldn't have M rated games imo and I actually like Nintendo. But point is This Makes No Sense. FF was not at all the same situation. This was turned wii u exclusive because SEGA cut the production and canclled a bunch of games, and SEGA was dumb enough to cancel this. Which Nintendo chose to publisb after. Final Fantasy jumped Ship because Sony had a new Platform that just came out firstly. Nintendo 64 was impossible to get FFVII onto. Look it up and Sonys PS1 was perfect fit for it because of the CDs. So they kept it sony from there and even rereleased older games onto the console. N64 was the original platform for FFVII but failed to work out. That was all it is. This was SEGA being dumb, which is why this is a issue.

Which makes most of these people look even sillier, because they are not trying to find out the hard facts on why this happened, just a bunch of ignorance being thrown around.

No, this is an issue because the fanboys in OP are being dumb.

The FFVII situation is a good example because we were all butthurt, but we understood the reasons, it just made sense. To say it was impossible is a crazy statement. Nothing is impossible, if they made FFVI on the SNES they surely could make VII on a more powerful console. So "impossible" is a big word. Maybe their vision was impossible, but the game itself wasn't if they changed their vision to fit the hardward (let's say, if the N64 was the only console to exist at the time). I'm not advocating for it, I just disagree with your saying it was impossible, especially stated like that.

The fanboys in OP don't understand why Nintendo deserves the exclusivity of this game due to everything you explain, and that's the real issue. Sega letting go of Bayonetta is their pre-rogative, it's not an issue, there are probably reasons why they chose that route. The real issues again are the fanboys in OP. Big issue. They are the plague of our industry.

We will call it childish because it is. If you can't read the posts and see the sheer ridiculousness of the reactions, then you are one of them.

There is a very logical reason that Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo exclusive, and it has been reiterated repeatedly in these threads. Nintendo revived a cancelled game. We don't know what the sequence of events was, maybe Platinum went to a few publishers and they all said No. Or maybe Nintendo proposed the idea to Sega themselves and Sega had no good reason to say No, because they had no future plans for Bayonetta 2.

Best case scenario for fans would have been that Sega would've seen the potential beginning of a solid franchise and invested in a sequel. But they didn't. And they killed it. Now this is what you get if you want Bayonetta 2. So just take it. You're not getting anything else. :)

You don't get the point, it isn't about Nintendo publishing the game. Its about how it got tothis point. I'm not even going to bother explain past that. I have Nothing against wii u and will get if i have the money, but tbis is non-sense. Nintendo still uses friend codes for wii u but is releasing sexual games. Just doesn't make sense which is why I'll buy the games like rayman and mario but nothing like this mass effect or so on. It's funny though all the nintendo fanbous cried that sonic 4 ep 2 and sonic generations didn't come to wii. Yet people praised sonic colors hoping it may get other console releases down the line but not complaining. And when Nintendo gets the good end, people expect no one to say anything. If you don't understand that. Then I don't know what to say
