Notta gonna buy a crippled system that is going to be fixed sometime after launch, like the 3DS (and it is still not fully up to standards, no voice chat, no messaging, lame browser - nintendo letter is a joke)

That's my only problem, with everything else I'm sold.

If I had the money I would preorder 5 just so I could price gauge when the shortage hits.

i wish i could buy on day 1 but here in my country the consoles tend to come extremely overpriced, if the price is $350 for the deluxe pack that i want to buy i bet that it will come here for like $500 and that is too much money for me. And not to mention that i'm still saving for a 3DS so i guess i'll go with the 3DS first then with the wii u, but one thing is certain: nintendo owns my entertaining money right now

since i buy gaming consoles for GAMING, then i don´t have a problem  :)

I can see Nintendo holding off on making the second pad available until it becomes less expensive to produce AND also the public gets sufficiently educated they don't think they controller is an add-on for the Wii. Also, factor in games produced that take advantage of the second controller also.

Sure, but if like me, you want to properly comunicate with your friends in your GAMING EXPERIENCE, you're gonna need an OS that delivers. Something like steam would be great. Some people may mention Xbox Live is good too, but I've seen it working at a friends house and he said he needs to pay for that, so that's not for me. 

They do have voice chat, with video no less, and messaging....its one of the first Wii U features they showed off this year

Today was a Thursday and pre orders have been awesome and its not even the weekend
