As a GTA (and open world in general) fan my interest is piqued. I want to see more info before I decide if it is a must buy for me.

I loved the Star Wars games, not really played any of the others but I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this seeing as I love open world games.

If I buy the Wii U this game will be my first. It looks amazing. And the Dirty Harry parody was hilarious. I really think this can become one of the big Wii U titles. And it if properly done it might give the Wii U a good boost.

probably the best of the LEGO bunch, though that doesn't say much (yet).

Might look for the game new on Amazon once it starts getting discounted. I would probably buy at around $30.

I think it'll follow the no price drop rule. I can't see any discount in the long future, unless it's a flopity flop

Might not be a price drop in the stores but you can usually find deals on Amazon even for new games.  I remember DKC was 5 dollars off around the first few weeks it was released on Amazon.   Such as right now you can get Mario Party 9 for 40 dollars + 3.99 shipping = $44.67 (with no tax required it says for this purchase).   So that is at least 8 dollars off from a store purchase of 49.99+tax.

This will be an interesting test for the lego video game brand. Their other games have sold not due to the strength of their own IP, but for the strength of the IP they are lego-fying. Would I have bought Lego Star Wars if it was Lego Space Opera? No. Lego Pirates of the Carribbean if it were just Lego Pirate... maybe. Lego Batman if it were Lego Superhero? No.

It will be interesting to see how well this does.

the corridor puzzle based LEGO games are great, but an open world LEGO game....recently its been released one based on Batman that was open world also right? how was it?
