I will likely get this. I only heard good things about the first game.

Any confirmations that first one was good?

I bought it back in early 2010 and I loved it.  I'm not usually a huge fan (I like, not love them) of action games, but Bayonetta is the exception.  I highly recommend it, especially now that is dirt cheap (I've seen copies here in the U.K for under £5).

It's the best action game in its class, the real successor to the Devil May Cry series.

I reeeeally don't wan't to buy the WiiU at launch but it's starting to seem more and more likely x_x

Hmmm... Looks like the wii U got a little T and A. Would care if I played Bayonetta doubt I will considering my backlog and new releasing games.

Gives variety, but not even close to a system seller.

I tried Bayonetta only because a lot of people said it was a great game and had the best combat... It is awful in every way, the combat was just awful, I don't understand how anyone could like that crap. I couldn't care less for Bayonetta 2 and any fans of the genre who own a PS3/Xbox 360 shouldn't care either with upcoming games like God of War: Ascension which is the successor to the best selling, most critically acclaimed and most beloved game in the genre of all time and is likely to take over God of War III as the new king of the genre. Then there's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 which is also releasing next year and is a sequel to an absolutely fantastic game, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is very likely to be even better than the first which would make it nothing less than a masterpiece.

I will tell you exactly what this means for Bayonetta 2's sales.......FLOP!!!
What a horrible move. It is fairly obvious most of Bayonetta's fans own the other 2HD consoles and are probably not going to be willing to buy another console JUST for that game.

This game wouldn't be getting made period without Nintendo funding it.

Sega canned the project, it's only because of Nintendo that this is getting made. Deal with it.

Guess what.

Many people may buy it without playing the first game at all. New owners or PS360 owners. Just like people play Mass Effect series on Ps3 despite the first one being absent .

I wish Platinum good luck, their games deserve more sales in my opinion.

Personally, I´m indifferent to the news, I tried to enjoy Bayonetta, the action is great but in the end the music and characters put me off.

Now that Nintendo and Platinum seem like best buddies, they´ve got to try their hand at a StarFox game.
