Next Generation Sony just should make a Minigame lasting 5 minutes. They will also include it as a bonus with every console sold, every controller sold and added to every physical Disc sold. After some years this game will be the no1 console game in the world... But it would still be just a damn stupid 5 minute lasting minigame...

Ok, Wii Sports sold very well... But this game is just a tech demo. There is so little depth in this game that it got boring after 30 minutes. And Wii Play wasn't much better to be honest.

At least Super Mario Bros. was a worthy game at the top. But this game was also heavily bundled.

Regardless of what you think of Wii Sports as a game, it was a brilliant marketing tool. One of the best the industry has ever seen. Millions of people bought the Wii for Wii Sports.

Consider this: according to Nintendo's own data (courtesy of the Wii's Nintendo Channel), the average Wii Sports player has poured over 43 hours into the game. By comparison, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has amassed about 46 hours per player, and Super Mario Galaxy has only managed to keep players hooked for 33 hours. You may have gotten bored after a half-hour, but clearly you do not represent the majority.

Does 43 hours of enjoyment per person not "deserve" a "sale"? Tell ya what, if your hypothetical 5-minute-long Sony game can provide so many hours of fun to its players, we'll count those sales.

10/10 would read again!

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Epic Nintendoomination!! (The doom being the inevetible destruction of MicroSony, like Sega before them!!)

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I think some of the games have certain charm which appeals casuals and core gamers together. During holidays, I don't think of PS3 or 360 games to play with my friends and family, rather Nintendo titles.

"Why do Nintendo sell more games than all manufacturers combined?"

Whether people like it or not: Nintendo offered/offers unique games that appealed more to consumers than any other manufacturer. And the high quality of those titles cannot be denied.

And you didn't include Atari. Thus your argument is invalid. Who knows how much Atari games sold?

Nowhere close to Nintendo. Maybe not even close to SEGA.

Speaking of SEGA, where are the Master System, Genesis, and Game Gear?

I couldn't get any numbers from VGChartz because the numbers totalled 0 almost across the board. I wanted to include SEGA but the numbers just didn't seem accurate.

Are we including all the ones buried in the desert in Atari's total?

That's a pretty pathetic list imo (game-wise). A pre-wii list would be amazing. Do it.

Also, I can't believe Spyro the Dragon only sold 5 units.
