i would like to know what are your thoughts of this game being:

-720p

- download content for the xbox 360

- physcis

- rage engine

- graphics

for a game that is 720p would their be any real difference between 720p n 1080p games

I dont care for GTA

Its a boring game...

The only reason why i would everplay it is just to Ride around in the city and kill NYC hookers

I wouldn't label myself a "PC fanboy" - but I enjoy playing games on my computer.
That being said, I don't care about GTA IV at all.

I like PC gaming, so I'll give an opinion...I guess...don't know what PCs have to do with it...

My opinion is, there's all of 2 gameplay videos out I think, and there's no way of telling how good the game will look in the end. Character models look alright, but early gameplay impressions said it was a bit choppy and unpolished...so I'm waiting for a later build to judge the game.

Speaking of GTA, you can buy the whole Rockstar collection on Steam now, it's a pretty good deal.

After GTAIII, I stopped caring.

I assume he's asking because Grand Theft Auto is a PC franchise in origin.

I didn't buy it when it was a PC franchise, and I'm certainly not interested now that it's a console franchise.  

I loved Vice City, but when SA came out, I too, like makingmagic476 stopped caring about GTA.

I really hope GTA IV is great though, I don't see why people make such a big deal over it's fucking graphics and all this 1080p shit, seriously who cares??!

It all looks the same in the end, will you really be having so much more of an enjoyable experience if there were a few more pixels/colours on the screen?

People who have too much time to care about things like that in a game are being derailed what it means to play games to begin with.

 I thought it was a ps1/pc franchise...

Though GTA: London 1969 only came out on PC, now that I think about it. 

Right. The origins of GTA are PC, but it rapidly moved to consoles, and really only became super popular on consoles, unlike FPS, for example, which were huge before Halo ever hit. 

As a side note, practically every major gaming "innovation" or genre invented by Westerners occured on the PC. Sandbox games, Western style RPGs (Bioware and Bethesda were both PC developers first, for example), First Person Shooters, Real Time Strategy, MMOs.

Just something I like to point out as much as possible as a PC fanboy.
