Dont own the game but going to play it with a friend tomorrow.

Pick Feng Wei.  Haudouken motion and any left limb = win.  the kick, will launch directly into the air on counter hit, allowing you to do it again.  Doing it twice in rage mode will deal close to 50% health on a pair...  Even less when it's just one character you're facing.

Then, there's the two kicks which leads into a face-planting bound.

It's amazing how many inputs you forget until you're actually playing the game again.

If you want to mash buttons, depending on how good your friend is, Jun Kazama would be a good start, but, mashing doesn't work on someone that knows how to play.  I was playing online, and got a perfect on someone on my first time ever using Jun...  Granted, I do use Asuka from time to time in Tekken 6, so it wasn't entirely mashing.

I hate mashers, but it was smart to use Jun as shes uses Kazama style like her relative Asuka.

No.  The masher picked Jun first, and got me.  So, I picked Jun next, and gave him an even worse beat down.

Must've misread. I am rather tired from studying for finals. A newb who spams or mashes deserves to be taken out. Tekken tradition. ::Raises glass::

IT HAS ONLINE PRACTICE MODE!!!!!!

I swear I've been wanting this feature since fighting games first came online. Me and my brother usually do practice mode instead of regular versus modes just so we can fight continuously (~30min) with each match up.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

PS3 Tekken or no dice. Pretty common much common sense that the best players will be there.

Add me if you want to get your ass handed to you.

PSN ID:STAGES373N

PS

Did anyone else get a creepy oversexualized Gamestop phonecall from the voice actress of Anna Williams to remind you of your reservation?

Gonna have to add you since...  Well, Areym's not much  of a threat.  My friend's list is full, though, but, so, I'm going to have to find some kinda way to make some space.. For now, I'll just send you an invite.

You better prepare yourself.

I usually only main Hwoarang, but ive gotten really good with Miguel this game forced me to get better with more characters I liked that. Well I could have just played with hwoarang solo, but thats no fun.

Played it and was quite fun. Since I am a total noob and had unpredictable moves I could beat some people pretty easily. It was hilarious when I fought this 1st dan guy, I was lee (from choosing random) all I did was a kick move over and over and for some reason he could not figure it out and kept losing. I refrained from using Jun, because well shes OP. I stuck mostly with my favs heihachi and Jenpachi.

Typhoon was really good. We went back and forth but he won. I need practice when I have time! REVENGE! I SHALL HAVE IT!

Working through endings so not really doing but so far my thoughts.

Loving it so far, getting used to tagging combos, still prefer just to be good at 2 characters. I actually would have liked a mode like the Tekken 6 Scenario campaign but alas, nevermind. Customisation is extremely lacking in items compared to 6. Hope they do DLC updates and add some outfits. Changing colours is all well and good but my Lee looked cool in the last game...

Played only 2 games online since getting it Friday, 1 unranked and the guy did well 3-2 game, he won, other one was ranked, a guy who had chosen Kazuya (switching to devil early on) and Angel, used lasers a lot. Wish people would learn how to play, not cheat.

Oh on a side, note, my housemate has it for 360 (I have it for PS3) and I couldn't do a bloody thing on it, it was like playing a shitty version of the game, pressing left it jumped. Pressinga direction and punch to do a move just punched and ignored the direction I input. How do people play on 360? It's hilariously bad.

Hmm, pie.
