I have a question before I decide if I am going to pick this one up.
Has this game this mode where could play with every character trough and then get an individual ending for them?

Yes, it's what I did first of all, was taking forever, so I lowered difficulty and rounds (now on 1) just to do it quickly. Got the trophy for 40 endings because of it.

Whether the endings of any substance considering it is technically not canon, is a different matter. I don't know they might be...

The endings aren't canon im suprised by the ones they put the most effort into though.

Are any of the ending in Tekken games canon? I mean most endings for Law, Paul and Steve involve one of them dying.

From the main games a lot of them aren't. We won't know which tekken 6 endings are canon until 7. Though i doubt them dying is canon. Yoshimitsu and bryan kill each other in each of their endings in tekken 5 and it was not canon. Jins endings are usually the main canon ones from the man series. Kinda confusing lol.

*sigh...

Going to be very careful with my speech, since people like to argue over frivolous stuff.

You'd be better off playing ghost battle for the endings. They'll all become unlocked eventually, and you'll get millions more in gold. Personally, I hadn't done it that way, as I'm online more than I play actual ghost battles.

In Tekken games, characters are unlocked over a period of matches. You either meet the condition of completing arcade mode with X character, and get Y character unlocked, or you play (amount) of matches, and get Y character unlocked.

This is probably going to be the case with the endings this time around, as unlockables are DLC, but, I have not played enough survival/other matches to say for sure. But, ghost battle will give you what you want. Arcade mode is a waste of time, unless you're looking specifically to fight Unknown.

In series of which endings happened for the main game, Kazuya in Tekken, Heihatchi in 2, Jin in 3 but then he went into hiding so Heihatchi still controlled the company, Heihatchi in 4 but it was mostly a ruse to lure out Jin and Kazuya, Jin in 5. Not sure about 6 but we will find out in 7, if there is a 7.

Some other endings that occured as ones like Bryan being rebuilt by Dr Boskonivich, yet none of Lee's endings are real (mainly as he usually Kills the family in them).

Hmm, pie.

Arcade is fine and good for getting specific endings for the people you want, ghost I'm using to unluck new costumes (or costumes from 6 that aren't in default selection).

Hmm, pie.

im sure their will be a 7 console sales I dont even think matter as much considering their arcade sales are so strong in japan. Also yea a lot of the other endings do actually happen they just dont link with the main storyline sometimes. Hworangs actually does a lot in terms of his endings.

... TTT2 is an alternate universe. That said, it's not impossible that the two could have the exact same event unfold within the two universes. So, most will be uncannon, doesn't mean none of the events in TTT2 aren't happening in the cannon universe at the same time.

So, it's probably not a good idea to throw out ever ending in TTT2 as false, when we know everything that happened in Tekken 6, 5, and 4 is true to TTT2. Well, the cannon endings from those games.

I dunno, the storyline in the last TTT storyline was cannon.

Sure wasn't.  Jin was a few years younger than his mother in that game.  She was about her Tekken 2 age, while Jin was his Tekken 3 age.  Nothing about that game was cannon, other than Unknown being Jun, but, that was never even said to be fact in that game, so she may as well had been a separate character.

I've been playing Tekken for the longest time but never online only with my brothers. The way you describe how you fight seems very familiar to me, that's how I always played against my bros. I've never enjoyed learning combos by heart, I just prefer going with the flow of battle, playing 50 rounds with the same characters adapting my playstyle to counter what got me beaten the last time.

That sounds like a great way to play, the best way. Twice I've played online and, while I haven't played many, I played some ranked matches. Bad idea really because I get annoyed too easily... anywho, there were a couple of times when I was lying flat on the ground, the opponents short combo has finished or they'd knocked me down. Now I don't mind them kicking me when I'm down, take a bit of energy off, that's fine, what I didn't like was that the move that they did essentially bounced my character in the air allowing them to then to a juggling combo even with a bound. From laying down to 2 feet in the air allowing for a combo.

Starting to get stressed now that Tekken isn't what it was once, Tekken 5 DR is seemingly better and better, there are more exploits in the games then ever before.

*moan moan rant rant* etc. :P
