~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
They can take your pokémon, but they can never take your FREEDOM!!! ...wait, what?
Don't give up! I lost my Pikachu after Koga and almost gave up myself, but with him passing on the torch to my Gyaraos (which he trained all by himself when it was just a Magicarp :') I decided to move on!
I later got to the Pokémon league, looked Lance in the eyes and said "I got this far without any revives, bitch!", and knew that it was well worth it. Even as his Dragonite struck down my Gyarados and his fellow buddies.
I am hereby passing on MY torch to YOU! Don't lose hope and FINISH THIS FIGHT!
I am sadly retiring from this thread. My Monster is gone, so my spirit must move on. Best of luck with the run!
Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.
Player2 said: Ouch, three casualities in the Gym... Razor Leaf and other high crit % moves in Gen 1 were overpowered, and it shows. Ajescent can replace Rol as the team's electric, but he'll need the Thunderbolt TM. Moon doesn't have a replacement, and he was going to be the key member in Sabrina's Gym. Uh... there wasn't another Spearow available? Pidgeys were really bad in Gen 1... |
...queit you.
Why did it take me so long to start reading this? Nuzlocke runs seem awesome!
Put me on the name list too! :D
I LOVE ICELAND!
^Better late than never, mate!
I'm his other Spearow, but I think I'm really low-leveled. If he really gets into a pinch and is in desperate need of a flying-type, I guess he'll grind the hell outta me.
^Prepare for some serious training battles my friend! lol
With my new team in tow, it's time to go back to the Rocket Hideout and end their Pokemon smuggling ring!
I may have mentioned this before, but I love the music for this place.
Trainer 1 catches me off guard with a Critical Confusion on Kasz, but I fortunately don't lose him already. Likewise, #2 gets a critical Hyper Fang, almost wiping Kasz out again.
I bypass the Rocket on this floor, instead going to one of the best parts of the game: the "Fly in a direction in slow-mo" tiles! I gather all the loot, including a TM, but there's nothing special. Oh well.
Back on Floor 1, I have Kasz switch in and out with Turkish, Radish, and Spurg, gaining valuable XP. He evolves, giving him a much needed power-boost. Unfortuantely, I still haven't found what I'm looking for. I head back upstairs to heal.
After a another trip to the bttom of the place, I finally snag a key off of a guard. I go into the elevator, go back to the bottom floor, and guess who I see again?
Yup, the comically inept villains from the TV show.
I rape them. Sexually. With my mons.
Anyhow, on to the real boss, Giovanni.
He starts off with an Onix, which really worries me at first. Then I realized that I can ahnilate that thing thanks to Radish's Quadruple-powered Vine Whip.
Next he uses Rhyhorn. Radish got easy XP. He's my strongest mon now, at level 27.
Last is a Persian, which Turkish takes out in two hits.
I really should have saved the Hippy Psychopath for after this, huh?
Next time: Pokemon Tower!
