what website are you getting those full top down maps from of each area. are there maps like that for the new games black and white

Yay, Celadon City, lots of things to do and get... Spurge can learn Submission (TM 17, risky, but powerful STAB). And somebody gives the Ice Beam and Rock Slide TMs... powerful stuff.

A good idea for Turkish (if you're going to give him the Earthquake TM for STAB) is to teach him an ice move. That way flying and grass pokemon who are resistant or inmune to Earthquake get destroyed by the ice attack.

Time to get to business!

#1: Collect Ajescent the Eevee. I already have the Electric, Water, and Fire niches filled, but it can be a good back-up.

#2: Go down to the local diner and take somebody's coin case, thus allowing me to gamble.

#3: Learn from random guy at the diner that the Game Corner has a basement.

#4: Get sneak attacked by a guy guarding a poster... wait what?

#5: Enter the area with some of the most criminally underrated music in the series.

#6: Hurridely leave the area, deciding to explore the rest of the city instead.

#7: Go to the Department Store and immdeiately go to the top floor. Buy a bunch of drinks for the local drunk in exchange for TMs. Also, get a spare Fresh Water in case I run into any thirsty people and some Lemonades because they're better and cheaper than Super Potions.

#8: Head over to the local Gym, where I enact the legendary Destiny Red technique.

Anyway, she leads with Tangela, I lead with Pie. Peck beats Bind. She switches to Weepinbell, so I use Basil. He has low health after a couple of Acids, so I switch to Rol. She uses a Sleep Powder, but I decide to power through it, deciding to use a Body Slam and

Moon goes in. He gets Razor Leafed in one critical Hit. No. Pie takes down that thing in one Peck. Out comes Gloom. It uses Acid. I heal with a Super Potion, but the first one weakened Pie enough to take him out. He goes down. Basil uses Ember and the battle is over.

And I've lost three team members.

Rol. Moon. Pie. I'm sorry.

Kasz replaces Pie as my team's flier. Ajescent will be evolved into a Jolteon immediately. Turkish fills in the last slot.

Just having Rol pitting against Erika was a serious mistake in this sort of run. O well, might as well chuggle along, lad. Nothing more we can do for Rol than to let him remain in our memories, he shall surely be missed...

Ouch, three casualities in the Gym... Razor Leaf and other high crit % moves in Gen 1 were overpowered, and it shows.

Ajescent can replace Rol as the team's electric, but he'll need the Thunderbolt TM. Moon doesn't have a replacement, and he was going to be the key member in Sabrina's Gym.

Uh... there wasn't another Spearow available? Pidgeys were really bad in Gen 1...
