Maybe, but what people "want" from the iPhone traditionally has very little to do with the electronics or design of the device ... Apple has become very successful because they have converted portable electronics into a fashion accessory.

The same can be said of Windows XP and 7 users, Android users etc or anyone that buy into what's the market leader, which strangely, Apple isn't.
